If I were to tell you that Africans discovered America, you might not initially believe it to be true. However, facts change. So, let’s look at the evidence.

The Olmec Colossal Heads

These 11-foot-tall, 20-tonne boulders were found off the Gulf of Mexico, dating back to 900 BC, and when you look at their faces, some resemble native Americans for sure, but others, with big noses and big lips, are irrefutably African.

But why would huge African heads be in Mexico?

The Africans and the Olmecs co-existed. It wasn’t a journey of conquest, but one of trade. West Africans had copper, metalwork, and gold, whereas Mexicans had maize or corn.

Where is the evidence, you may ask?

There is maize in parts of west Africa that predate Christopher Columbus by centuries, and those crops aren’t native to Africa. Only Mexicans could have introduced these crops to Africa. Yes, Africans went back and forth to the Americas.

If you are wondering how Africans of that era found their way to Mexico, for one, there are the Canary Currents. It’s like a clockwise river stream through the Atlantic Ocean. You could literally sail a boat from West Africa to the Americas with your eyes closed.

Secondly, despite historical lies and misrepresentations, Africans were master shipbuilders and navigators. We were voyagers, explorers, educators, architects, and much more.

Africans taught Europeans

The might Moors of Spain and Portugal

By now, it should already be common knowledge that Africans taught Europeans. The Moors—Shakespeare's Otello (the Moor of Venice being one)—were the Muslims of North-West Africa, and they taught Europeans new techniques in science, mathematics, chemistry, physics, philosophy, and other disciplines.

The Moors ruled Spain for a whopping 800 years! Yes, I expect you to believe that Africans ruled Spain and brought all this back to Europe before slavery. There were well-lit, paved roads in Spain, hundreds of years before any paved streets in Paris or street lamps in London. Africans were advanced.

According to this historical account, the Moors sound like the Jetsons, while the Europeans sound like the Flintstones. It's not my original intention, but the Moors designed modern cities and lived in palaces, while the Europeans slept in barns alongside their animals.

I know, that is disgusting! The Moors therefore taught Europeans hygiene, music, fashion, chess, three-course meals, tablecloths, etc. Africans taught Europeans many of the things you attribute to their progress or civilization.

Given all this, is it still necessary to trace the history of Africans' discovery of America? You can easily see how it is possible for an advanced person to journey to the Americas while Europe was literally still in the Dark Ages.

If you are still not convinced, you need to hear of another eyewitness account besides the Africans.

Evidence from Columbus’ Journal: Christopher Colombus wrote in his journal how the Native Americans confirmed that black-skinned people came from the South in big boats, trading in gold-tipped spears long before he arrived.

You might be wondering, as I am right now, how, if all of this is concrete knowledge, why isn't it commonly known in history books?

Well, whoever controls the past controls your future. But why can’t we just look into the future? Why is the past so important to you?

So, let’s say that from the day you were born up until last week, I erased your memory. All your experiences, everything you knew to have been your existence, are gone! How would you feel?

You would be clearly lost and afraid because you can’t plan for your future without knowing your past. That’s why true history and not history, is so important. It’s why I want everybody to know this.
